TopshopExpress has been given the go-ahead to open its first delivery service in Italy in September.
The service will allow customers to book a parcel from the UK and receive it from Italy in a matter of minutes.
The Italian website, topshopexpress.it, says it will offer “premium delivery” and “express” delivery services, but is not yet ready to say how the service will work.
“We have a good partnership with some top-tier brands, and we are going to have a really strong relationship with some more well-known brands,” Topshop’s general manager of product and service Raffaella Colombo told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica.
“I am really excited about this opportunity.
It is a huge opportunity for us to develop our brand, expand our presence and expand the delivery services we offer.”
The company is expected to offer delivery in the UK, Canada and France.
Topshop is also preparing to launch a service in Germany and Australia, with plans to expand to more countries in the future.
